Description[]
An enormous valley of snow covered in white mist as far as eye can see. There are roots of ice growing up to the surrounding mountain ranges that tower above. Around the middle of the valley is a huge snowy wasteland. To the north one can see arcane storms.
Information[]
The Still Valley is a domain of frost and ice that belongs to the elves, located north of Vannok and west of The Wastes of Ash. It was revealed to be where Ben was born.[1] Also known as The Domain of Ice, the place has a legendary reputation for being utterly inhospitable to any creature that comes inside due to the overpowering cold outright freezing the mana in people's veins if they are not sturdy enough and resistant enough to ice and soul magic. The danger is large enough that the elves could say with confidence that no invader had ever returned after entering, not even elves at the level of Monarchs.[2]
When Ilea entered the valley, she discovered that her spells froze in the air and that the mist made it a lot harder to perceive anything around her. It also made space magic a lot harder to perform.[3]
The last Taleen key Ilea needed to collect was located inside the valley.[4]
