Description[]
Orcs are heavily muscled humanoid creatures, but as opposed to humans they can have more than two arms and their skin is grey in color. They have manes of black or brown hair on their heads. They have two tusks jutting out from their upper jaws and a tail sticking out from their lower backs. Ilea first encountered orcs in the northern part of the Sava desert, on the way to The Cursed Marshes.[1]
Beliefs and culture[]
Among the orcs one has to prove their strength to earn respect. They do not seem to have any kind of central leadership, but form hunting parties when strong orcs put in the effort. Red warpaint also seems to be part of their culture, though the extent of it is not clear. When warrior orcs die they believe they go to Traka, some sort of afterlife.[2]
Upon seeing Ilea's formidable power in destroying the Dread beasts with her ash outside the Cursed Marshes, the orcs used the word "Ranok". It is apparently some sort of term for those who stand above others in terms of strength, though the exact meaning is not fully explained.[3]
