Melian Serantis[1] was a strong lightning mage that migrated to Riverwatch after several elves destroyed her "backwater shit town in the west"[2]. She begun to take over the criminal elements of Riverwatch with ruthless efficiency going so far as to assimilate the ingrained Riversong criminal faction.
The takeover amidst the mass migration of refugees from the destroyed cities resulted in a large boom in murders and theft [3] to the point of Dale requesting Ilea's assistance.
After the inevitable confrontation, Ilea killed Melian in a one-on-one fight.
