The Medic Sentinel Corps is an organization of combat healers founded by Ilea and managed by Trian as the Head Administrator in her perpetual absence.
It is intended to be a corp of mercenary combat healers following after Ilea's footsteps, filling the much needed role of healer, which is currently monopolized by the Healing Orders, none of which particularly like anybody else. The goal of the organization is to help humanity as a whole and to increase the survival rate of people by having capable healers that are actually able to fight monsters on their own. Members of the organization are forbidden from participating in offensive wars and from killing sapients without valid reasons; Ilea made a point of this, as the ideal of the organization extends beyond protecting humanity and aims at fighting against monsters beyond just the areas where humanity lives and protecting people from all races and species.
The Sentinels kill monsters, help settlements, and heal people, all of this charging fair prices and sometimes not asking anything in return. Members may even carry out missions with teams of Shadows or Adventurers in their capacity of healers.
As of Chapter 400[1], it had no functional members and was just a fledgling organization, with most of its progress having been made in the background. It had a rapid expansion thanks to Ilea's resources, Trian's enthusiasm, and the great fame and excellent reputation of Lilith's name.
As of chapter 443[2] there were already 60 members with a few instructors and the first batch of students attracted by the free housing, high quality education, exquisite food, and the fame of Lilith. The members of the organization come from various backgrounds, but most of these students share a common desire to become capable healers and want to make a difference.
As of chapter 631[3], they are already an organization recognized by Ravenhall and the Empire of Lys, having powerful members with levels over 200, carrying out various missions in the Human Plains. The Healing Orders have taken notice of them and have started to reach out to the Medic Sentinel Corp, although their motives and intentions differ.
Ranks[]
The members of the Medic Sentinel Corps have different ranks. They are all called Sentinels as members of the organization, but there are clear divisions in their rankings based on their experience and their level of strength. The following ranks are observed in the organization:
- Apprentice (Initial rank)
- Medic (Have learned enough to put their skills to use in a Sentinel team)
- Hunter (lvl 200+ with completed education)
- Veteran (lvl 300+)
They start out as Apprentices, and later on become Medics and are usually put in teams ranging from pairs to five-people parties in order to train in dungeons and fight monsters. Those over level 200 who have completed their education and are authorized to carry out missions alone are called Hunters. The rank of Veteran is meant for those who have reached beyond level 300, though as of chapter 633 none of the Sentinels had reached that.[4] This changed later, when Gael achieved level 300 and became the very first Veteran of the Sentinels.[5]
Faculty[]
The members of the faculty are called in various ways, such as teachers, instructors, and so on, with even some administrative positions existing as the organization grew. However, the offical title for the faculty is Advisors, and the title is made so that they may be of service to the Sentinels after their training is complete, commanding the respect of the Sentinels through their knowledge and experience even when the Sentinels have surpassed their former instructors in combat prowess.

- Halra - Originally a Fire Enhancer - A former slave who used to train those meant to fight in gladiator battles in Seyna. Part of Malise's team. Ilea asked her to demonstrate her fighting ability when they first met. Asked Gael to help her train and stood her ground against his grumpy personality, earning his acceptance.[10] Got the Arcane Flame Wielder class (confirmed in chapter 875).
- Veyra - A former Truth healer who parted ways with the Order of Truth after their corruption was revealed. Helped slaves and refugees from the war and joined Malise's team. Got the Arcane Priest class (confirmed in chapter 875).
- Balt - A slave who was meant to become a gladiator in Seyna. Part of Malise's team. Got the Arcane Medic class (confirmed in chapter 875).
