Gretmoor Valarian is a heavy-looking Taleen dwarf with broad shoulders and an enormous black beard with gray strewn within. He wears a dark green metal helmet, and his weapon of choice is a sword.[1]

When Ilea first encountered him he was guarding a monastery run down by the long years since they heyday of the Taleen along with two Taleen Centurions, levels 323 and 327. He was not very responsive at the time, but perked up after Ilea fed him. He may have been unknowingly put up guarding the Lead Key under the guise of keeping the monastery safe. Ilea enlisted Aki to speak to him, seeing as the dwarf would find it better to talk something familiar. He went to Hallowfort with Aki.[2]
