Baralia

The kingdom of Baralia is a neighbor of the Empire of Lys and is notably one of the kingdoms to have slavery. Was ruled by High King Baron. It operated differently than Lys being more similar to a collection of independent cities than a united kingdom. After the war with Lys the kingdom has been disbanded.

Due to the cooperation of some cities including Yinnahall instead of being completely absorbed by Lys some of the cities have managed to negotiate for a less severe change in leadership. This agreement is known as the Varay Accords which consist of laws by the empire, taxes and reparations, many obligations and a near total change of hands when it comes to most kinds of wealth, but perhaps a few are left with a shred of dignity and a speck of power
