Azarinth Healer Wiki

History[]

In the distant past (likely thousands of years ago) the Azarinth Order was a powerful organization. The Order itself is currently only known through the surviving temple that Ilea started near (including some books found within) and the flavor text that the System uses when describing Azarinth associated classes.

The Azarinth Order was likely founded on the strength of Azarinth magic. Azarinth magic seems to be a variation of Arcane magic that somehow makes it capable of directly healing. Flavor text seen in class descriptions suggests that healers may have had more authority within the Order than the other two paths.

Ilea believes that the Azarinth Order in general were arrogant assholes, based upon the content of some diaries and the like, plus the flavor text of the Azarinth Elder evolution.

Vor Elenthir hinted that he was one of the hunters who killed off the organization wiping them out because he was afraid of their arcane attuned magic evolving into terrifying force amongst humans.

Acquiring Azarinth magic[]

The most common way to become capable of Azarinth magic involved eating the Bluemoon Grass elixir.  This method had the unfortunate side effect of killing about 1/3rd of those who ate it for the first time.  The effects of eating it are permanent.  There is a slower, safer, method, but that is largely impractical as it takes decades or longer.  Even if you survive eating Bluemoon Grass the change it produces is very painful.  However, there are positive side effects: +10 Vitality, +10 intelligence, +10 Wisdom, and you "recharge Mana at a faster pace +100% mana recovery rate", though that doesn't mean exactly what it sounds like - you don't recover mana at twice the rate, instead the amount of time you need to go from zero mana to 100% mana is decreased by the same amount it would be if you had an extra 100 points of Wisdom.  In addition, it lets you gain the Azarinth base classes.

Azarinth classes[]

  • Azarinth Healer - Ilea's starting class
  • Azarinth Warrior - unconfirmed, this is speculation based upon text in Chapter 2
  • Azarinth Mage - unconfirmed, this is speculation based upon text in Chapter 2

In addition to the base classes, there are common and rare evolutions available.

Common evolutions at level 200[]

  • Azarinth High Priest - "You have healed many on your path to strength"
  • Azarinth Juggernaut - "You have proven yourself unmovable"
  • Azarinth Artillery - unconfirmed, this is speculation based upon text in Chapter 67

Rare evolutions at level 200[]

Common evolutions at level 300 - Azarinth Elders[]

The only known common evolution at level 300 is Azarinth Elder (tagline "You have pushed yourself to the pinnacle of humanity and thus deserve to carry the name of Elder").  These classes appear to suggest the following main paths for healers, warriors, and mages.

However, clearly even for those following common evolutions only such paths are clearly not mandatory - Ilea herself unlocked the Juggernaut evolution despite being a healer.

Rare evolutions at level 300[]

It is speculated that the two classes that begin with the word "The" may be classes that no one has ever obtained before.  In particular, the class that Ilea chose, "The Azarinth Sentinel" includes flavor text that appears to be based upon Ilea's own philosophizing, suggesting that the System created that class specifically for her.

In modern times, the only people known to have Azarinth classes are Ilea Spears and Alice Forkspear.

It is arcane in nature. Closer to true restoration than most healing abilities. Usually such power is not found in humans. Only few of you choose the path of the truly arcane, fewer still able to bend it to their will. The Bluemoon Grass is the pinnacle created from centuries of work, alchemy and magic. It changes the body of a weak and classless human to allow for arcane attuned healing to be used." By Baron of Violence Cluster.
